Emails: The New Office Olympics

Has anyone else noticed how sending and receiving emails has transformed into an extreme sport? I mean, there’s the sprint to respond during meetings, the strategizing on whether to use ‘per my last email,’ and the high-stakes game of deciphering cryptic one-liners. It’s no wonder we need to run team-building exercises; we’re all in the office Olympics.

I totally relate! I’ve found that adding a light-hearted emoji at the end of a tough email can lighten the mood and invite a friendlier response. Just a little nudge towards seeing it as more than just a task. How do you handle the pressure of waiting for replies?
